A group of nine women meets up at their weekly book club meeting. The next day one of them is dead. The rest of the ladies are shocked by Toni's death, but they all have their own little secret. None of them really liked her. As the police try to figure out who would want to kill Toni, the members are trying to figure out if someone among them is a killer. Who will figure it out first?
It just so happens that Murder at the Book Club was the selection for my book club this month. We all agreed that it was not one of the better selections. ALL of the characters were just horrible. Horrible to each other and just horrible in general. We all had different "I thought it would have been better if this happened." ideas, but instead, it was just flat. It was just disappointing. There was one part of the reveal that was a little bit of a surprise, but not really shocking. - CLICK HERE FOR SPOILERS.
Bottom Line - Murder at the Book Club was not the best book I have read recently, but it was still the result of somebody's hard work. And that I can resepect.
