Actress Aimee Sinclair returned home after a long day on set to find her husband, Ben, missing.   His wallet and phone are still there, but he is gone.  Aimee isn't all that heartbroken that Ben is gone, their relationship has been rocky recently and their last dinner together ended in violence.  The police think that she has been acting suspicious and think that she had something to do with his disappearance.   They think that she is hiding something and she is, but it is clear that somebody knows the truth about Aimee Sinclair.  She has been receiving notes from a stalker for a while now that say "I know who you are."  Which is impossible, because everybody who knew the truth is gone.  When a body is found in the garden of their home, Aimee knows that somebody is determined to ruin her life. But who?  Who is trying to ruin her life?

Aimee Sinclair was a sympathetic character.  She has been through a lot in life but was starting to see some true happiness when she met her husband.  Her happiness soon turned to anguish when she realized that her husband was a violent man.   The author alternates the story between past and present.  The reader gets to know the truth about Aimee's childhood and it isn't pretty.  There were times throughout the book that I thought that Aimee may have been mad, like split personality mad.  The author makes her a very unreliable narrator.   But when the truth was revealed, it left me speechless.  -CLICK HERE FOR SPOILERS!  Even the way the book ended was a bit twisted, but it left me wondering what her life was going to be like 10-20 years in the future.

Bottom Line - I Know Who You Are was one of those books that left me completely flabbergasted with the big reveal.  It was unexpected and I love when a book can do that to me.  I will definitely be watching for more by this author.
