I absolutely loved this book. I had seen it show up on several "Best of 2024" lists, so I was interested. The waiting list on Libby was so long that I just finished it this month. But it was worth the wait. I was hooked and didn't want it to stop. The stories were captivating, and the way the author read the book was a true performance. When I found out the author had a podcast, I immediately subscribed. 

This book is for anybody who loves a good underdog story. And American history is full of underdogs.
