The investigation grows complicated as more victims are found. Drawn deeper in, Riley soon discovers implications far beyond her Midwest town.
I love mysteries and I especially love mysteries set in my home state of Iowa. I often get homesick reading novels set in Iowa. It was no different for The Fields, however the detailed descriptions of the stifling Iowa summer heat made the homesickness slightly less. I enjoyed Riley Fisher and the writing so much that I immediately went out to read the next book.
