A friend of mine has been encouraging me to read John Marrs and he is an author that has been very active in a Facebook group I belong to, so I selected Keep it in the Family for a recent read. I was not disappointed. I finished it in one day and could not put it down. Every time I thought I might figure it out I would message my friend. And I was wrong. Every time. I hung onto every word, trying to work out in my head what was happening. I was so engaged in the story that I didn't want to stop.
Final thoughts - there is some seriously dysfunctional situations in this book and a trigger warning, but if you can handle the brutality, you will read one of the best books.
