Imagine getting a piece of paper with nine names on it. Your name is on the list, but you don't know the other names. At first glance, there is nothing to bond these nine people together, other than the list. There is an FBI agent, a suburban father, a hotel owner from Maine, an oncology nurse, an aspiring actor, and more. Many of them have dismissed the list as a mistake or junk mail. But then, one by one, they are being crossed off the list. Will somebody be able to connect the dots and find the author of the list before it is too late?
It surprised me how much I got sucked into Nine Lives. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it sure wasn't the high body count. And just when I thought surely not that character, the author proved me silly for doubting him. The book was fast-paced and kept the reader on the edge of their seat. The ending absolutely left me speechless. CLICK HERE FOR SPOILERS.
Bottom Line -I love finding a new author who shocks me and Peter Swanson did just that. Nine Lives is not one to be missed.
