Wade Watts and his friends are still basking in the glow of winning James Halliday's contest when Wade discovers that Halliday developed the most amazing technology since the OASIS and it is going to change the world.  The ONI allows users to immerse themselves in a way that the the OASIS only scratched the surface. With the ONI, users can actuall feel what is happening in the OASIS. They can feel and experience everything happening.  But the ONI isn't the only secret that Halliday left behind, there is one more quest that Parzival and his friends must complete.  Will they be able to recover the seven shards before the evil Anorak?

I was so excited for Ready Player Two and it did not disappoint.  Although, Parzival did a bit. He wasn't the same as he was in the first book.  He used his "powers" for his own benefit more than once. And he lost some of his "nerd" status as they were on their quest. It was clear that he even disappointed his friends. The book is fast paced and full of pop culture, especially 80's pop culture. Just like before, it was my favorite part of the book. The very end was a bit of shock, I am not nerdy enough to have seen it coming, but it was kind of cool, nonetheless. CLICK HERE FOR SPOILERS

Bottom Line - Ready Player Two is another action-packed trip down memory lane.  I don't think that it is as good as the first book, but from music to movies and everywhere in between, you will not be disappointed!
