~*~*I want your input, please! *~*~*

So far, I have kept my blog to be strictly a report about books that I have read. But, now I am asking you, the readers, if you would like more.

Due to the nature of my profession, there is information about authors, books, characters & such that I could share with you, the reader. I have been approached by authors & publicists to take part in blog tours and author interviews. Up until now, I have declined these requests.

But I ask you, would you be interested in reading about book related things on my blog, in addition to reviews of books I have read?

I am going to create a poll & leave it up until June 5, 2009. Please, vote and let me know what you think.

Yes, absolutely!

Definitely! I've been reading your reviews for a few months and have read quite a few books you've recommended. I would really appreciate your insight into other things book-related as well!

Mimi, Kelly, thank you for your input!

What exactly do you mean? I'm sure I'd be interested, but not sure exactly what you're talking about.

I don't know, I like it the way it is, I have read some of the books you recommended too, thank you!!! Maybe give it a trial run and see how it goes. In any case, I love this blog, thank you!

I think it would be good! People can read about book recommendations anywhere. You could have something extra to set your blog apart!

I agree! I think this kind of information would be fabulous!

Yes, I think that would be a great move!

Hi - Could I make a request concerning your book reviews? I would love if you could also include a rating of the language, and also if their is graphic violence included. I have put down so many otherwise decent books because of these things. It would be so wonderful to know these things ahead of time!

I will do my best. But, what you may find offensive or excessive in terms of violence & language might differ from what you may think.

I sometimes have the mouth of a sailor & so I don't even notice creative language in books.

I will try. LOL. That is all I can say.

Why I Read...

I remember the carefree summer days when I used to ride my bike to the public library to pick out new books. I would go almost daily to find books to read. I read to learn. I read to explore the world. I read to escape. I read because not reading is not an option.
